Well, It was nice to see my OS today. He said he was so pleased with my progress. He said my incision looked great (his opinion). I asked him about the pain I have on the inside of my knee that travels down my tibula, he said that he cut all of the bone away from that side explains the pain I have there. He made sure that I have enough pain meds and told me not to run out again. I get to ditch the crutches and can drive yeah. Next week I can return to my rescue squad although only to drive but that makes me very happy. All and all I still have alot of pain but I am beginning to maybe see some light at the end of this rode. Oh ya and I can soak in the tub. I want to thank everyone for your support. Back to doctor in a month. He said swelling will continue to be there for along time but thats okay. Wow positive things coming from me, I can't believe it. Oh ya I forgot I even went back to school tonight.

Well ... wouldn't it have been nice if somebody would have told you about that while you were still in hospital! Basic stuff, I would have thought! But delighted you're doing so well. Sounds good.

Yay mayberry! That light at the end of the tunnel just got a whole lot brighter for you! Keep up the great recup! :)

Oh, Mayberry.....this is such great news and I'm so happy for you. You're beginning to get your life back!! I knew it would come, but sometimes it just takes a bit for it to happen. I'm betting you'll continue to improve now. Just don't overdo it as you get back into activities....slow and steady.....rest and ice is STILL necessary!!
