hi there everyone is here anyone who has experience with a dynasplint? broken link removed: https://www.dynasplint.com/type/knee.php

Hi, STP....I seem to recall someone mentioning wearing a splint like this at night but can't remember what was said other than they were going to be wearing one.

I used two of them. One for each knee. Didn't work for me. I have to admit that I didn't wear them as much as they said I should. They are impossible to sleep in and you need to stay sitted for hours at a time. Didn't work for me. Maybe it will for you.

hi garym yeah thats the worst part you need to sleep with it

If I recall right they want you in those thing for 8 plus hours. Don't recall for sure.

Hi,
I am suppose to be fitted with one of these tomorrow.
Did you have one and did it help in anyway? The time I am suppose to wear it sounds terrible!

Looks torturous! But if it helps,,,,,,,,,:)

Looks like something my brother wore for 8 weeks following a muscle repair to his knee. His biggest problem was that it kept slipping down. Make sure they size it correctly for your leg. It looks awful but didn't hurt at all and gave him good support. Best wishes.

Hope

Yea they do slip down. I think it's more for when you are lying down or sitting in a chair. Even sitting in a chair it was wicked. Just didn't work for me. May for you though. I cranked that thing up. I wanted to get it going. You'll see. Turn the little adjustments on the bottom. Every two day I turned it up one more notch. I think they said turn it up every week or so. I just wanted it done with.

Good luck. Hope it works for ya. Don't break it or loose it. They told me it was somewhere in the $2000 range to replace.
