Thank-you to all you for your wonderful support. Today was such a much better day! Nancy (skyeRN) called me to let me know she was home and how well she's doing! I am so proud of her. I started a new project today that keeps my mind busy and hands occupied. If it turns out I will show all of you or at least tell you about it.

No tears today...nothing but smiles except for my supper...YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! I went on-line and ordered a pizza and when they delivered it, I tried to carry the box and walk with the walker...Yeah...just what you're thinking...it happened...I dropped the pizza! What a mess!!! My little dog helped me clean it up. So now I can't decide what to do....order another pizza or fix something. Although I really need to get some peas on my knees and ankles...been up too much today!

Hope everybody has a beautiful day Saturday!!!!

Yeah Cindy!!! Thankful for the good days, helps us get through the bad ones.

Ooops, sorry about the pizza. I too ordered pizza for these little hungry people. Several of them think they are starving if they have to go more than 20 minutes without eating. They are driving me crazy with their growth spurts and eating binges! :sigh: They sit and look pitiful as they nimble the last bit of the crust as if they haven't already eaten 2-3 pieces of pizza!

Goodness I will be glad when I'm up and around and can get things better organized and children on a regular schedule. I cringe when my youngest comes in my bedroom with that foolish look on his face drawing out Moooommmmyyyy! I have been in this bed too long and am starting to get a bit cranky and stir crazy myself.

Glad you are more chipper today and finding purpose and activity to keep your occupied.

Next time ask the pizza guy to bring it in for you and set it down, so your dog won't get indigestion but you get to eat it. :p I'm sure I will be looking for an acid reducer before long.

Cindy,
I say order another pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when the young man brings it have him bring it in for you!:wink::hehe: I mean really you can look can't you!!!:whis::wahey:

Hope you ordered a(nother) pizza! But hope it didn't have any peas in it!!! Feel better and don't be frustrated!!! (:)0)

Hey Cindy---I can't believe how you do everything for yourself---you amaze me each day. I would say---order another pizza for yourself ( I would probably also call to tell the pizza place that the box ended on the floor because you were using a walker due to both knees being replaced--sometimes a person story brings results--a free pizza?) Hope you DO eat something-plus get your knees iced---I do think of you each day.

I'm writing this now---5 minutes ago I was crying my eyes out. Husband thinks he's tired and/or sick and instead of household priorities (ME too) he spent 2 hours organizing stuff for some of his engineering consulting. So upshot I gave him hell (poor guy). Usually my husband is topnotch at home and always cooks at least half of all our meals-he's a great cook plus loves to do it. But boo hoo me--I guess. I AM doing GREAT but still am new post op.

Hang in there Cindy!!!!!! Nancy

Those walker trays look wonderful! My worst problem was the helpless feeling when I couldn't even carry my food to my chair. I looked locally for a pouch or something....didn't find one, but I sure would have ordered the tray if I'd known.

Pat

I actually found a great pouch that hung on the side of the walker so it was not in the way...from Walgreens.

I found a great pouch at the hardware store it was a tool pouch and it had lots of pockets. Just look at any handyman at work.

I like looking at handymen!:hehe:
