If you want to find posts or threads about a particular topic, there is a very efficient search engine right in the forum! It can be found in the top corner of every page in the blue navigation bar.
Click on Search and you will see a dropdown menu:
You can start your search here by entering any keywords. Or search for a member’s threads by typing their username in the “By” box.
For more advanced search options, click the “Advanced search” button.
Advanced search gives you three options.
1. Search everything (see image above) – just enter a keyword or a username. You can also narrow the search by entering a date.
2. Search threads – here you have even more ways to narrow your search.
3. Search tags – this option allows you to search by "tags" that are assigned to particular threads by the BoneSmart staff. You can type the tag into the search block:
The results of your search will be displayed in a list in order of when the subject was discussed in a thread.
Right click any thread title and it will open the thread in a new tab.
Or, if you are reading through content on the forum and see a tagged topic that is of interest, you can click on that tag at the top of a thread. This will give you a list similar to the one above of all threads with that tag.
