does the acetabular cup look like it’s in the right place?

This is a recent picture of the hip I had replaced in 2006.

@19K30 Is there something in that x-ray that you question? Are you having any problems with that hip?

No problems with it. The cup looks like it has moved. I’ll try to post a post op pic from 2006 and it looks like the cup has shifted. I’m just curious.

It could be that the newer x-ray was taken at a different angle. I think you would have symptoms if the cup shifted.

Ok thanks. I was worried about an issue. Kinda looking for a second opinion here. I talked to my PA when they were taking the staples out from the hip I just had done in 12/2020 and he said the same thing. I wasn’t looking forward to doing this again anytime soon.

Agree, and Your leg is not in the same position...so this may also affect how it looks on x-ray.
