I swear you ladies think you have had the equivalent of a tooth extraction!! Did you really expect to be mobile and painfree after only 5 weeks!
Two things -
1. this is MAJOR surgery you have had. You might have bounced back to normality in 24hrs after having a tooth extraction but it's going to take a bit longer with this
2. it didn't take 5 weeks for you knee to get into the condition where it needed this surgery and it's not going to take 5 weeks to get better - more like 5 months, to be honest!! Some people are still taking pain killers after longer than that. But don't be depressed about it. That is perfectly normal. You are doing well and that is despite the complication of your wrist injury, which, if I recall, I told you elsewhere would put your progress back some time.
