Five days to go, TKR surgery happening 12/17/18. Already looking forward to leaving the hospital and I haven't even checked in yet. I'll be leaving the hospital with titanium parts made by Biomet to go with my new titanium hip. Years ago my younger sister brought her hip bone home. Personally I thought this was an odd thing to do but it got me wondering how common it is. Anyone?

Please can you clarify your signature for us?
It says "R Bilateral HR August 6, 2018". Yet it appears that you only had your right hip replaced. "Bilateral" means that you had both hips replaced on the same day. Did you have that, or was it just your right hip?
