@Welpers Welcome to BoneSmart! You can't send personal messages until you have posted at least 5 posts on the forum.

Are you planning to have joint replacement surgery? If so, please start a thread of your own and tell us your story in the pre-op sections.

Dear Jaycey! I’m not the one actually having joint replacement surgery instead my mom is the one. What about you?

Welpers....welcome to BoneSmart. We're happy to help you with information regarding your mother's upcoming surgery. I notice you are asking about conversations. Here on BoneSmart we use that feature primarily for members to write to one another about more personal issues that they don't want on the forum. Discussions about surgery or joint issues need to be on the public forum so that everyone has the benefit of the discussion.

Jaycey has suggested you start a thread in the pre-op forum for your mother. That's the best thing for you to do at this point. Tell us a bit about yourself and your mother's situation. Ask any questions you might have. If there is a particular member you want to communicate with, you can either post a specific question about their surgery in one of their threads or ask it in your thread and tag the member. To tag them, you type the "at" sign (@) followed immediately by their username....like this .... @Jamie

You might also want to check out our How To Use This Forum under the HELP & INFO tab at the top of the screen. There are lots of short articles there to help you navigate the forum and make your experience here more enjoyable.
