Recovery continues apace. I had a bit of a temperature spike up to 38 C last Friday but that was gone by Saturday. It was a bit scary while it lasted but since the scar looked very well and there weren’t any other symptoms I decided to treat it as normal unless it continued for more than a day.
I took things easy on Saturday and Sunday and then rewarded myself with a trip to the shops on Monday. It was nice doing my own grocery shopping (although I normally hate it). No repercussions on Tuesday. Today I’m getting a pedicure, as I can’t reach the right foot and I do not trust either my son or my partner anywhere near me with a sharp implement.
I haven’t heard anything yet from the PT department about physio. Feeling ready for it now, although I expect nothing I s going to happen until January now. I will need to chase them today though.
