There are currently 5 major companies plus DePuy that market full knee replacement products. Are there any "consumer report" pro/con articles available that help the patient decide which one to pursue. I am impressed with DePuy's rotating platform but it's not the one my Doctor is trained on.

It has been my observation that more important than which knee replacement you use is which doctor you use. A superior knee put in incorrectly does no good whatsoever, and there is a large learning curve in new prosthetics. I would suggest using the knee your doctor is familiar with, or finding a doctor proficient in the knee you want.

I should also note that it really depends on what your knee problem is. Different products address different problems. Osteoarthritis is different than rheumatoid arthritis in the effect on the knee. One source you may want to check is the knee fact sheet from the American ***osc. of Orthopaedic Surgeons. https://www3.aaos.org/research/imca/OAkneeContents/OA_knee_m7_2.htm
