Please relate your experiences with surgery for carpel tunnel.

@kneeme12 If you type carpel tunnel in the search function (dark blue bar top of page on the right) you will get a whole list of all threads mentioning carpel tunnel.

I'll also tag a couple of our members who have experience @InkedMarie @Lynne54

Are you scheduled to have surgery? If so, what is your surgery date?

I have had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and it has made such a difference
It's a relatively straightforward quick procedure and is usually combined with another procedure. I had carpal tunnel undertaken alongside trapeziectomy and trigger fingers, and have in the last week had more trigger fingers done.

Hello @kneeme12 ! I had my first carpal tunnel release in 2020. Very uneventful. Glue closed the incision, I had no pain, no stiffness, nothing. I had my other one done four weeks ago. This was a different doctor as it was being done while I was under for shoulder surgery. I had stitches with this one; they came out at the two week mark. This has been a bit stiff but no pain.
With both, my numbness and pain were immediately gone and best, for me, was no more burning. I can’t speak for you but I had burning pain and I thought my fingers were on fire. I’m happy to answer any specific questions for you!
