Caregiver question - bike and/or peddler?

My husband, John, will be having TKR shortly and we have begun collecting needed recovery equipment.

One therapy question remains. Does he need both a peddler machine (which we have... thanks to a generous gift from a Bonesmart member!) and a stationary bike.. (currently on sale at WalMart for $117) ?

P.S. Our pre-op class yesterday was well attended (36 people). Your input from my previous post was so helpful!

Not sure it's a question of either or - the bike is just best as you can adjust the seat as you progress, getting better flexion. You're lucky getting the class - seems like my surgeon doesn't do them!
