Hi
I had THR 16 months ago which has gone absolutely fine. However I know my other hip is just as bad although it has caused me no pain so I thought it would be a good idea to keep taking Glucosomine in order help keep everything working. I did this in the form of Cortaflex which refined strengthened version however I began to notice a few quirks in my operated leg a bit of pain around the hip as I was a bit hit and miss about taking the tablets I began to notice that this occured when I took them. I have now stopped and all is fine. My physio suggested that because of the THR it couldn't be absorbed and was going into the muscle instead. Has anyone else noticed this phenomena
