hi I read on one of the forums that calcium+ D (600 mg) and magnesium 250mg would help you sleep at night. I got calcium plus vit D tablets. the vit D is 400 mg and the Calcium is 600. it also has 50 mg magnesium. Do I just add 200 mg of magnesium and take all at night for sleep? thanks

At night to prevent insomnia, you need 1200 mg Calcium + D and 500 mg Magnesium. So, double the magnesium at least!
I always took 2 pills of each. Still do in fact!

I have chewable calcium with D tablets that taste really good. The magnesium I have are medium size capsules. I like magnesium asporotate or magnesium citrate. Magnesium oxide is the least absorbed form. Magnesium is also great for promoting regularity. I'd use about 400 mg. or a little more.

that is awesome to know. we are going out today and I'll get the magnesium and give it a try tonight. I have lots of trouble falling asleep, not just due to the knee so I am excited to find this natural aid. Does it work quickly? or does it take a few days to get into your system?
