Hi there everyone

well its five weeks tommorow since my Left knee was replaced and i am starting to feel part of the human race again. went for a short walk yesterday and today and had two nights of relatively pain free sleep. just woke for about one hour around 3am and didnt have to go in the spare room just rubbed pain relieving gel on and back to sleep.

going to physio twice a week on the machine and now doing extra excersizes. still only getting a 70 bend but physio says not to worry,

after my last physio when she bent my knee backwards and i felt something go funny, which i think was where the staples had been tight got a small gap in my scar and was weeping a bit so doctor put me on double strength antiobiotics as she says not to take any chances.

how may tablets can one person take!!

Good news!!! And bless your doc for taking the precaution of the antibiotics. Good guy!!

I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling better mentally. That makes such a huge difference when you make that step from wounded warrior to happily recovering person.

I agree that there is no worry about the ROM at this point. You have lots of time to gain it back. Slow and steady is best.

Sounds like you're doing just great! Positive attitude and great outlook! Just think how great you'll feel in another couple weeks!
