It has been awhile since I posted, but I FINALLY found a doctor in my area who does cementless knee replacements. He has been doing them for years, he says, so I have scheduled surgery for my right knee on July 14. It took a long time to track down someone who does this surgery, but because of my allergy to bone cement, I don't have many options.

He uses the Stryker Triathalon Knee - I would love to hear from people who have had this knee and hear about their experiences.

I also have a nickle allergy, but he said he thought the Stryker knee would be ok. I contacted the company and there if very little nickle in the Triathalon Knee Replacement.

Thanks for any input.

I just had a Stryker Triathalon installed four weeks ago today, but I know the OS used the glue.

So far, so good. In fact, REAL good.

Good luck with your new knee. I did a lot of research before hand, and the Stryker products have a great reputation from what I can see.

But I really didn't find much negative about any of them, either. I think they are all good products, just have minor differences.

Kathy, I am very pleased for you, and relieved that you have finally found a surgeon who can do this for you. It was a long search, eh?

Kathy, way to go! Your diligence paid off and you have found someone who can get the job done for you! I wish you the best of luck as you go forward with your new knee. Please keep in touch here on the forum whenever you can. We care about you!!

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to reply to my post. I am happy that people are having good luck with the Stryker Triathalon knee. I will keep everyone posted as the date gets closer. I'll admit I am quite nervous about the whole process, but finally the limitations my not-so-great-knee is imposing on me is becoming quite bothersome.

Again - thanks for taking the time to write!

Don't be concerned. I have allergies very bad and never thought about being allergic to the cement. I will check with my doc. They do wonders now so you are going to be fine. What type of problems did you start having?
