Not for any of my ops. Why are they making you use this?
As I said previously, they're giving me a bad timel for being a smoker.
Strange though, the cardiologist says me heart is excellent.

I'm up and walking with a walker, it feels pretty good except for my knee, I had no idea how bad it really was until the hip was taken care of.
He's gonna do something with it tomorrow which he thinks will hold it over for a few months.
I even got a shower today after.........TMI.
I should be outta here tomorrow!
Thanks for all the support!!!!

Congrats for up and walking and getting out tomorrow! That knee pain is something. I think I complained about that more than anything. And I think @BBQJOE we can all relate to first shower!

Yes, we can all relate to the first shower...and the first TMI. Big relief...Way to "go":heehee:

:wowspring:TMI Happened fast! :yay:

One thing I'll have to say for this hospital ( Guadalajara) they are real sticklers for sanitary practices.
Everything is rubber gloves, alcohol, and cleanliness.
Today they are really working hard on keeping me out of pain.
The hip feels like nothing. If it weren't for the knee, I feel like walking a mile would be no problem.

That's a great thing. Just don't forget not to overdo.
New tie-rod and ball joint in there. Things need time to settle.
Glad your experience has been positive so far.
You know we had to worry for you.
Very hopeful recovery will be uneventful.
Now behave!

Morning Joe, having my morning joe.:mcoffee:
Got any idea when they will be sending you home?
Hope you were able to rest...
Just checking in on you!

Running a little sore this morning. Mostly knee.
Impossible to get a cup of coffee around here until 8am.
But Mexico does have the original coke, it's not quite coffee, and an ecig isn't quite a cig.
Buy hey, what's a guy to do?
I might go hit the nurses station and bribe them with a dollar, that is if they have any.
I can't wait to get home now.

Sadly the knee really gets jacked during dislocation of the hip.
Ice that too, if you're not already,
Wishing you a good day! @BBQJOE

Free From Mexico!!!!!!
3 hours in line waiting to cross the border with the rest of the Christmas travel to the US.
He gave me a platelet shot in the knee which should dosome repair until the next visit.
Life feels pretty good right now! And I'm not seeing stars every time I move!

Happy to "see" you on the other side!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your new hip!!!! Sounds like you had a positive experience. Glad to hear that!!!
:yay:

It's refreshing to see you so upbeat, Joe
You sound more hopeful.

Make sure you take your meds on time as the trip home will most certainly wear you out!
Get lots of rest tomorrow and ice, ice, ice!

Warm wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2018!
Keep us posted... @BBQJOE

Happy for your success. Get home, rest, and heal!

I'm sure the ride home was the pits...my 40 min ride home felt like two days.
So glad you are home and healing.:tree: Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
Now be a "patient" patient, and don't gom this up....:bignono:

Hey Joe just read your posts. Yup it’s crazy how it takes months to get taken care of. Especially considering the amount of $$$$ they charge. I can understand why you went south of the border. Sounds like you got good care. Now more waiting to heal up but that’s different.

Now why would I do that?

Hahaha!
You'd do that so you remain the happy, optimistic, Joe who's emerged since he's lost some pain.
Your whole attitude is different, it's refreshing!
Used to be scary to visit you, now I find myself wanting to tip-toe over and peek

Your pic reminds me of that song - I wear my sunglasses at night....:walking:
