Tim. I know what you mean about the barometer dropping. It seems when the weather gets damp, I get sore all over. My TKR knee used to be the first place I got sore, now it seems to be the lower back. I guess the new knee is getting better but the lower back, from limping all these years, is showing some "stenosis" as the Doctor says. Hopefully as your new knee heals, the discomfort will diminish. Ugggg....I wonder is we will ever be totally pain or discomfort free in this life time?? You know, sometimes, I just say the heck with the pain and "push" it to the limit. It actually does not make me ache anymore than I already do. And I feel better when I go over and above my daily chores. IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD DO IT! But sometimes it feels good to use parts of my body that have not been exercised in a while and feel a different soreness. For example, the other day I raked and thatched my lawn by hand. My right shoulder is sore now, but its because I used it for several hours raking the grass. But the soreness is nothing like the pain of the TKR! And thanks for reminding me about the time change! God Bless and heal well!
