I should have asked for a pirate leg in the beginning
:heehee: That’s cute.

Please do read the article above on Leg Length Differential. Tap the title in blue and the article will unfurl. I’m not sure where you got the shoe insert, but you really do need to get your leg measured by a professional. I’d advise you look into this so you don’t further compromise your knee since you mentioned it’s bothering you.
Best of luck to you and a Happy New Year too!

I agree I will try to setup an appointment for it.
The pain is almost gone now when I walk which is nice.

So I went to a doctor today and had about a dozen X-rays taken. He said the right leg is about 5 mm shorter. However he didn't believe that would cause the pain. He thinks its the new join hardware likely triggering the pain. He said if the shoe insert helps use it. So I guess its just going to have issues no matter what. I have no pain when I sit or sleep, just walking. Oh well.
Thanks everyone for the replies!

Did your surgeon have any suggestions to bring you permanent relief, other than agreeing to your idea of the shoe insert? Just curious.
