Hi all,
Just to let you know that I am now officially off the sick and back at work...
I was to do a phased return for 4 weeks with limitations ie minimal stairs for now , no running or responding to emergencies etc etc.
However I did not use any of my holidays for last year due to my timing at going off sick, so have now got to take 6 weeks hols as my employers will not pay me for them.......But back on full pay will make such a difference as I am sat here playing with my computer.....lolol
Then in April I will go back start my phased return again, and still have another 5 days hols carried over to add to next years allowance......yippee
So all in all , things are good at the moment.....the stiffness I was complaining about the other week seems to be easing and life is lookin pretty damn GOOD......
Finally getting my life back again..and thats what it's all about my friends on here...if in doubt about the op...I say GO FOR IT....it's given me my life back and at just turned 50, this time last year, I couldn't walk after my accident, now .....Just try stopping me lololol
This op is a miracle in itself, there are ups and downs with the recovery, but with patience, perseverance and help and encouragement from the wonderful people on here, especially, there IS light at the end of the tunnel, and the day that you are walking without pain, and not being concious of your knee ....that is when you know that you have DONE IT..and all is going to be great from now on..........
Jo ........good luck with the surgery......you know thats the right thing and nerves will come and go, and you will be soon up and pain free again
Good luck to all due surgery, or recovering from it, you will soon get to where I am now......AND ITS A GREAT PLACE TO BE......
Take care love and hugs Pat xxxxxxxxxx
