Hello and Welcome back!
We’re happy to read that BoneSmart helped you through your THR’s. Thanks for sharing that. Wondering if you joined us back then as a member, or if you were a lurker as I was for so long before my surgery?

Feeling nervous is normal. I believe we all experience apprehension to varying degrees. We’re here for support always, so please don’t hesitate to stop by when you’re feeling in need. We’ll be here. Best wishes for lots of comfort as you wait out the next couple of months until your TKR.

I'm getting scared, I haven't lost the weight I should have. It feels like I've tried but b/c my knee gets sore and pops and dislocates I get discouraged. My surgery is 8/25. It's arthroscopic as well. One day surgery. Hi everyone. That's my dog Kaya.

@WaterLover12

I‘ve moved your post above out of the Monthly team thread as we reserve that thread for surgery date information, and so members can see who else has surgery the same month. We prefer all other comments and discussion to take place in a pre op or recovery thread, such as this one. Enjoy interacting with others who are on the same journey, here in this thread. :flwrysmile:

It’s very hard to lose weight when we’re hurting! Plenty of time to work on that after you have recovered.

Your title says August 24, which is the correct date? We just want to make sure your signature is correct.

Kaya looks like a sweetheart, she (he?) must be a good buddy. :dogsniff:

Welcome to the knee side! (though sorry you have to have another joint replacement.)
