Hip Arthroscopy Arthroscopic hip surgery recovery?

I have a labral tear due to FAI in the left hip.
How soon can I walk without crutches after hip arthroscopy?
What is the usual time you can go back to work after the surgery?

The time frame is different for everyone. Just listen to that hip and give it time to heal.

What is the usual time you can go back to work after the surgery?

The recommended time off work is 10-12 weeks and then a Phased Return. Recovery from arthroscopy can be a bit more challenging than from THR.

Hello and welcome to bonesmart. I was wondering if you have an orthopaedic surgeon as yet. If so, make a list of all your questions when you have an appointment or call with the list of questions and see what he/she advises in your particular case. I kept a list on my phone and kept adding to it as things popped into my head so that I would not forget anything during the appointment. I also took time at the appointment to make notes as to his answers. So much information gets exchanged that sometimes it is easy to forget some of the details.
