as you all know real problems with pain due to my OA everywhere since my PKR, had a tearful but good chat with the pain nurse at work, she is referring me to the above as it may help, I wasn't keen to increase opiods as I felt groggy when upped, and she isn't keen to change neuropathic meds as many cause weight gain one thing I don't need with a newish joint. PT said nowt much else they can do stuck at 100 -105 degrees so will walk with a limp, seeing the surgeon next week, but will try anything for pain relief has anyone used kinesiologist with their pain.... Gladly the nurse said I don't need to see a psychologist for pain as I am coping really well (sometimes I think I'm not but obviously I am!!)

Gayle, so sorry to hear you are still hurting to this degree. I'm not familiar with kinesiology, but here's hoping it is the answer for you. Please let us know how things go! Here's a special (((HUG)))) to help get you through this tough time.

Hi Gayle,

I can't help you either but I do hope you get some relief soon.

Chris :)

I guess you will be the one educating us on kinesiology and how it helps with pain.
Good Luck with it.
Judy

I'm quite excitied sad huh? but to have chronic pain for the last 4 years anything which may improve it tends to make me be positive as its quite a drain at 30 years old....
Am also really having to potentially change my nursing career because of the hours on my feet, so as i said anything is better than nothing and at least i can work...

I am glad y;ou can work and hopefully find some other types of nursing that interest you.
Chronic pain does effect so much of our lives. I am 51, but look back and realize I just lived with it. I guess I was so busy with the 4 kids and keeping up with them and work, time just flew by.

I hope you keep looking for solutions and find some real good ones for you
Judy

yup I do forget it when busy its when your not that the demons creep up!!

Thank you for your kind words Judy it is so kind, will let you know how I get on!!!
