anyone opt out of MUA and regret it?

I was just funnin' with you, Gat. I'm really on your side, honest! No one really understands what we TKRers go through unless you've been there yourself. And since you look and feel good, your lovely wife just assumes things are back to normal completely and forever. That's why you have us here on the forum to use and abuse you into laughing now and then when you need it!

What ever happened with your dog and the cancer? I have been thinking about you because we've had two near misses with our 12 1/2 year old "baby" here in the last month. She has pancreas problems now and each time she got really sick and we thought we were going to have to put her to sleep, she rallied and got better with the changes we made to her diet. Anyway, all of that made me think of you and the caring way you were supporting your wife during a similar situation.

We had to put Lucy down a few weeks ago. It has been very hard on my wife, but she is doing better. Thanks for asking. My wife has that and some other 'stuff' going on right now and her personality tends to 'fight' rather than 'flight' so that is the basis for 'my lil sitation'.

Buy the sounds of how much you love her, you'd actually prefer she NOT flight, right. Wife staying=good for Gat

I'm sorry to hear about your dog and my heart goes out to you both. I hope things smooth out for your wife soon....she is lucky to have such a good, understanding and supportive partner as you. Sounds like you are able to put your "sitation" in perspective.....very healthy! You know we're always here for ya too if you need someone to vent to. Kneesies have to stick together!

(((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))) to you, gat. Sounds like you are having a rough time. You are in my prayers.

Jenn, you are soooooooooo right about wife staying = good for gat. Her temper can be rough sometimes, but I can deal with that much better than being without her. She and I really make a good pair because we react to things differently and after the initial 'differance of opinion' wind up helping each other get to where we should be. She always wants to 'jump' and I always want to 'wait and see', so together we move along nicely.

Interesting, Gat.....my husband and I are like that too. I'm the "get in there, get the problem identified, options laid out, and get 'er solved" person and he is the laid back one that wants to wait and see if there really is a problem. We, too, are a perfect match. Pretty amazing how that works, isn't it. Makes you think someone special had a hand in getting us all together in the first place, doesn't it!
