Anyone heard of Skelaxin?

Anyone heard of skelaxin? On the last visit my nurse asked my os if I could
get a muscle relaxer as my quad is giving me fits. The os gave me some samples of skelaxin. WOW what a diffrence!!!! I take that with a couple of
motrin and I dont need as much of the percocets. I am down to about 4
percocets a day. 3 weeks out as of tomorrow. Doing pretty well trying to just use my cane around the house. PT starts again tomorrow.. I am looking forward to it.

I also use Skelaxin--it's good stuff. It also doesn't make me sleepy like many muscle relaxants can do.

I have heard of Skelaxin but not used it, I take Soma when needed and it does work only makes me sleepy lately. I only use it when I am having spasms. Since Linda2 says the skelaxin doesn't make her sleepy I may ask my dr. if I can try it instead of Soma. Rowdy
