Sorry for asking so many questions, but is there a way on this forum to find all threads that deal with a specific topic. I'm looking for threads that deal with weaning off vicodin and substituting OTC meds.
Thanks.

Go to the search at the top key in things like pain medicine, or how to getting off pain medicine..etc. They are there I found some..Keep scrolling down you will find some. aldo in the archives a the bottom of the page there are a couple in there, also at search key in addicted to pain medicine, NOT THAT HE IS BUT THATS WHAT SOME ARE UNDER FOR WEANING OFF. Sorry best I could do.....good luck...

Thanks Kim, you're always there for me. Also, how do I look at those "tinypic" things. Jo told me to go under "user control panel, etc.", but it did not work. I want to look at her pain control chart, I found it on the forum, but can't click on it, or I can't even type the web address in manually. Any other suggestions?
Thanks, Carol

Im looking be right back

Hers one got to search key this in....."whats realistic to expect from pain management "
Im still looking for the other chart...

Ouch I could only find THAT ONE for you !! Its driving me crazy I cant remember where it is....But I wont give up , still looking....

Kim, don't worry about it. You gave me enough links to read for the next two weeks. His problem is the pain in the knee is not that bad and he would like to cut down on the vicodin. He takes 3-4 725mg a day. But, he is taking them more for the back pain. While he is getting the epidoral injections, he cannot take anything with asprin in it, so, again, he is stuck in the middle, no OTC stuff. He needs something for the back pain (until hopefully these injections kick in), but in the meantime the vicodin is giving him bad anxiety. Oh, what to do.

Ouch, you don't have to click on the charts and pictures that should be appearing in the posts. You just have to set up your profile correctly. To do that, go to the USER CONTROL PANEL in the red tool bar at the top of every page and click on it. Then click on EDIT OPTIONS. Scroll way, way down to the bottom of the page to the block titled MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS. The second item in that block should have the option ENHANCED INTERFACE - FULL WYSIWYG EDITING in the block. I can't recall if you have to save those settings or not (if you see a SAVE button, click on it). Then go back to the post where you want to view the chart and it should be there. You may need to go out of BoneSmart and come back in to make the changes effective, but that should work.

Ouch! That's what you have doctors for! Use them! Ask them!!! That's important in light of your hubby's other medical issues! You shouldn't do the withdrawal thing without notifying his doctors! They'll guide you!!! Hang in there!!!

Ouch....he can't take NSAIDS? I don't think they have any aspirin in them.

Jamie, I've done all that you have said, but I did not go out of bone smart, that may be the problem, I'll try that now.
Thanks a million.

And you have the Enhanced Interface in your EDIT OPTIONS????

Oh...okay.....sorry. I thought you just meant nothing with aspirin.

I'm at a loss then. I'm putting a photo in this post....tell me what it looks like to you. If there are letters where the photo should be, copy them in your reply.
