Another Newbie to the fourm

Hello all, another newbie here with a TKR scheduled for Sept.9th.

I have been doing alot of reading here and getting a sense of what I am going to have to look forward to!! hahahahha
All of you folks really seem to be a caring group and a very good support group that I am glad to be a part of.

I am going to do alot more reading and I am sure it is gonna help me during and after my surgery. Thanks to all of you for the inspiration that this old man has gotten since I have been here.

I am 4 weeks post-op right TKR. I was so glad I found this forum before my surgery. It has been a salvation to me. Josephine is a wealth of knowledge.
Everyone on here is so supportive and caring. I don't know what I would do without them. They are making this so much easier by having people I can talk to about my feelings and answering my questions.

There's no such thing as 'old' here - when you get your new knee you'll be measuring your age on how many days/weeks since your op!

We also have another rule 'no such thing as a stupid question'! So if you have any questions, please ask ...

So true, this is a GREAT group of supportive folks. I'm so glad that I found this forum before my surgery. I had left TKR on June 9, and I only hope this place is still around when I go for the other knee, because this has truly been a lifesaver!!!!! Keep coming back with the questions!

Thanks so much to all of you for the warm welcome. Looks like I may have found me a home away from home. I am definitely going to hang around for awhile. My TKR is not until Sept 9th, but I have gathered a wealth of information since I have been here. Maybe some day I can help someone else that needs that same information I am getting from all of you now.
