Ankle Pain after Knee replacement

I had a TKR three months ago and have had to deal with pain in the ankle on my same side as my knee replacement. The pain comes and goes but is rather sharp when it happens. Also have trouble with my walking gate.
Has anyone has any problems like this in their recovery? If so what did you do to overcome it?
