Airport Security

You are such a devil tonite, Mark! Research cofirms that LAUGHTER is the BEST medicine! Could've fooled me today!!! :(

I've been on well over a dozen or more flights since my surgery and can attest with some accuracy that not all airports treat flyers the same.

I am fortuante that the Baltimore-Washington airport near my home is wonderful. They have one of those full body scanners so i am in and out fast.

Denver SUCKS! No scanner, rude personnel, nasty disposition, WAY too touchie feelie for my liking... The TSA guys I've drawn there so far are on a huge ego trip.

I carry my wallet in my hand as I go through the scanner. Twice TSA agents who were waunding me took my wallet, disappeared to run it through the x-ray mahine even though it didn't set off the waund. NOT Kosher...

Yikes! Check your Amex bill. Mud!!! Not kosher at all!!!

Yeah, Mudpro....the wallet thing would send up a red flag to me and I'd be inclined to ask for a supervisor. It causes more delays, but that can be done.

Mudpro thats terrible but I guess they think well if this person wants to get on the flight, what choice do we have, they did that to my husband as well......

I am with Jamie on this one. There is no way they are taking my wallet or other items without me being there.
And Mud,I also hear you, there is alot of difference between airports ,it just goes to show how they all have been trained. Some people love authority, and they love to show it. I myself prefer fun,,lol.

Well, they certainly are NO fun in NY, Mark! I can tell you THAT!! Authority? These guys think they wrote the manual! There should be NO reason why they should abscond with your wallet though!

We were hear in Texas getting ready to leave. I put everything in 2 oz bottles, shampoo, sunblock just stuff. because thats the rule...Anyway my daughter just had wrist surgery so she had tylenol3 liquid...They let everything go thru but that. They took it, it was in a 2 oz bottle straight from the pharm. needless to say all my other stuff they let go and took that. I begged because she just had surgery...even had lil papers in case she needed to be seen on vacation....sooorryy he didnt want to hear it...My though only me he wanted it....why would he left eeverything else go...

Wow, Kim! That sucks! Next time, call a supervisor over! They should have let that through! You're probably right, he probably didn't give anyone, any trouble for the rest of the day!!!

Here in Los Angeles I do not set off the alarms. Just walk right through and on my way. After I stop and looked shocked:shk:
My spine doc was very surprised when I told him. Besides the hip, I have metal in my neck and my back has 2 rods and 20 screws. Lots of hardware. I always get stopped in florida on my return. JUst scares me to think what gets through in LA. The screener there told me if I made it through there I would not be stopped anywhere. Sure

Kim that is awful that they would not let your daughters med go with you. I travel with so many meds and my needles, they so far have never been a problem
judy

I never knew they even had dons! I want to be a PRIMA DONNA!!! :)

Whoops! I meant ....I never knew that they had FEMALE dons!!! No wonder I can't get the theme from the G-dfather out of my had!!! Al Pacino,,,,,,where ARE you when I need you???? :)

I needa respect!!!! :)

Haha, Yeah Clinger better learn. He's gonna be mad !!!!!.lol Did he say what type of work he did. Probably something we wouldnt think of...He might be on of those people at the airport and hes trying to throw us off.
