I survived and I am doing much better. It wasn't as painful as I was worried about. I did wake up hurting and I really felt like the nurses didn't believe me when I rated my pain. I had some pain meds in the car took two and I was good for most of the evening. It didn't so much hurt like serious pain it was like an ache, deep ache like when the flu has really set in. Today I went to therapy and they were amazed how much of a difference it has made. I truly was still on a walker and tomorrow I am moving to a quad cane. I have to laugh, I never thought at 39 yrs old I'd be excited about a cane :)

I want to say thanks so much to every one who reached to me here, it has meant a lot and I know that as I progress with this, I can come back and get honest answers to my questions.

I have a big therapy session tomororw, I get to do squats.. woohoo... so if I am alive after I will let ya'll know how it went!

    Thanks again

    Juls
