I was concerned since on Thursday I was at 75 degrees. My PT was talking
MUA (manipulation) as a likely next step . I lost a few days of progress with the post operative hematoma (last Tuesday) , but quickly improved. He added an exercise that really helped. While I can't manage a single rotation on my spinning bike, getting on the bike and taking a backward/forward revolution to the 'sticking' point really helped. I do 4 sets of 10 reps each direction. Anyway, I added over 15" of flexion in two days!! Of course I am paying the price right now. My knee is real sore and and I been on ice most of this afternoon. Had to take a Percocet an hour earlier than scheduled.
In his (my PT) opinion, my improvement would indicate that I have no adhesions . He did say my progression day to day , week to week, should be significantly less dramatic. I figure I need at least 105 degrees to actually ride a bike (stationary or regular). He also cleared me to go to the gym and work on upper body exercises (machines). Things are looking up!
