9 days post op report

Hello all. I just wanted to thank all of you for the kinds words and let you know I appreciate them.

Had my first post op visit with the OS yesterday and he is very pleased with my progress. Had all my staples removed and wound is healing well. He's moving me from home PT to a rehab center. Stopped my use of CPM machine. Said I could straighten my leg out completely.

Pain is still minimal and like others, I am having some trouble sleeping at night, so I am experimenting on ways to aid that.

I'm doing so well on my own I told my daughter to go ahead and go home as I could handle myself. I took a shower with no assistance this morning and it felt great.

All in all, I am really one of the lucky ones. Thanks again for your kind words and suggestions.
