I'm really nervous about my Mom coming home. The hospital says there is no reason she can't come home but the rehab says that they wish she would stay. Rehab says that someone should be with her 24hrs/day. I fixed up her room and made the bed high. Got rid of area rugs. Got a sturdy chair with arms for living room. Someone will be with her Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. All the other equipment is coming hopefully Saturday. The people at the rehab have me going nuts and paranoid but she doesn't like it there. Home P.T. has been arranged. The surgeon took her off coumadin and I must call Tuesday to see if he wants to resume or not as this may have contributed to the hematoma. She is in no pain. Am I forgetting anything or are there any helpful hints out there?
