Hi all, I just went past the 8 week mark, the knee is doing good but I still have quite a bit of pain on the left side of the knee not in the joint itself its on the outside just under the skin. Its very sore even to touch. It feels like a ligament that just will not heal. My range of motion is stuck at around 95 and no matter how hard I work it just will not improve. Is this normal? The Doc said that there was alot of scare tissue on that side because of all the prior surgery.

"lot of 'scare' tissue" Mike! LOL

Think you mean scar, yes?

Eight weeks is still early days. Just keep plugging away. You'll get there eventually.

Hi Harleyrider,
scar tissue is a real pain. But hopefully your Doctor will keep on top of it.
What kind of Harley do you have?? We have 2. one is a 94 Dyna wideglide, other is a
03 anniversary harley davidson Dyan wideglide. But I am not to sure I will be able to ride on either one of them with hubby. So we are thinking of buckling under and getting a Touring bike. Better comfort for me. I have not been on a bike since MV in 2003. Miss it. Have hopes that these new knee's will let me ride again.
So I hope you too will be out on the road again!!!
^i^

We have an Ultra Classic, Sandy and I have been riding together for years and we put about 8-10,000 miles a year on it. Have you seen the new Tri-Glide? That is going to be our next purchase. I think were ready for the trike

Mike

Goodevening Harleyrider,
I wanted a trike really bad. But Hubby said that Charlie told him that they are not good on corners. Have you road on one??? What did you think???
I love the trunk LOL Its a girl thing!!!!!
^i^

I have not ridden one myself we have some friends that have them and they they like em alot. I would imagine that cornering would be much different but you would get used to it.

Harley is very proud of there trike (36K)
