I saw my OS yesterday and I no longer have to follow the hip precautions. I celebrated by sleeping last night with my knee on my operated leg plunked down on the mattress in front of my other knee.

This morning I managed to get down on the floor and back up again without doing any damage.

My long term goals are to strengthen my hip flexor, which is very weak, and regain enough flexibility so I can tie my shoes after I put them on instead of before. And maybe someday I'll be able to get my foot on the counter like PRGal.

The counter? Try a chair first!!! Keep up the great work!!! How tall is the counter anyway? Just don't lift when company is over!!!! LOL!!! :)

Great news, Diane!!! I'm so happy for you. This is a HUGE milestone!

Well done Diane, that is great news - it must be such a wonderful feeling to be able to sleep like that again. I am so pleased for you.

Isn't it odd how that happens, I just know my pain was unbearable but I cannot remember how it felt.

You sound like you are really doing great - keep it going
