I saw my OS yesterday and I no longer have to follow the hip precautions. I celebrated by sleeping last night with my knee on my operated leg plunked down on the mattress in front of my other knee.
This morning I managed to get down on the floor and back up again without doing any damage.
My long term goals are to strengthen my hip flexor, which is very weak, and regain enough flexibility so I can tie my shoes after I put them on instead of before. And maybe someday I'll be able to get my foot on the counter like PRGal.
