6 wks update

doing very well. have a lot of stiffness in knee and 3 small draining holes in incision. no warmth or redness anymore, but some minor residual swelling behind knee. nothing stronger than motrin and sleep is good. missed sleeping with my 5 small dogs, so put pillow over knee and now we do well moving around. one thinks he's a mountain climber and sleeps on top of the pillow. hope all tkr are doing well. I still think this site is the best thing for tkr since ice. continued thanks for all the advice.

lol yes hubby put and sheet up between us both across the whole bed , tied up, so they could sleep by me but not on me......Im glad you doing well. Take it easy though. Thats cute with your mountain climber lol.......Get some rest. Keep us posted...

Good to hear you are doing well and enjoying your pets again. Funny, my cats stayed away from me for a long time like I had a disease. They would peak in then run the other way. But cats are very different than dogs.
