I have not been to the forum for a while, so I thought I would update my progress since my TKR. I finally feel like I've turned the corner and I'ts all going to be worth it. There for a while I was not so sure. At 4 months my OS recommeded an MUA I was at 90 and no matter what I did I could get no improvement. When I woke up after the MUA I could tell immediatly that there was an improvment I am now at 120 and getting better each week. I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with ROM

I hope everyone the best with their recovery, those that are just starting out hang in there it does get better before you know it. There were days early on that sometimes I would just lay on my bed and cry because it hurt so bad.

Hey, Mike! So good to hear from you and GREAT that you are back on the progress trail. Thanks for taking time to post your good story. It WILL be a help to others who worry about whether a manipulation can really help.

I am so happy for you. Thanks for sharing it gives us hope. I hope you continue on your road to happiness. Yeah for you........Kim

Jamie, I can't tell you how much this forum helped me through my bad times, I am so thankful that I ran across it. If my experiance can help someone else I am glad to share it. When we start out I don't think anyone really knows how rough the first few weeks are going to be. For me being able to come to the foum and read about the experiances of others I knew that the really bad times would quickly come to an end and it would all be worth it.

Thanks

I'm so glad to hear that the forum was a help to you. That means a lot to me. I agree that it is such a relief to have a place to go where you can talk with people who know what you're concerned about and what you are going through. And reading success stories gives a lot of comfort and joy. Keep the good news coming!!! God bless you!

Harleeeeee!! SO good to hear from you! And to know you are now doing so well. Thanks for dropping by, my little chick! Bless you.

Mike -- I'm really happy for you!!! I think the value of this forum is that people post from all over the world with all kinds of recovery timelines. some things are universal (like not being able to sleep) and some things aren't. But I have learned so much here also. It's a great resource!
so since your handle is "Haraleyridder" -- do you have one? Old or new? Have you ridden it yet? The old Harley's are so beautiful.

Yes, my wife Sandy and I have been riding for the better part of 30 years. We love to ride and have ridden all over the US and Canada. We are currently riding a 07 Ultra Classic. I am back on the bike and am looking forward to the summer.

Wow, terrific recovery, Mike! Ride that Harley and ENJOY your life! You've worked hard and deserve it :)!

Hi Mike. Glad to hear you are progressing so well. You will continue to notice improvements even after 1 year. Hope to meet you and Sandy some time. See you on the road!
Cheers, Ross
