So, I thought I would share some good news. I am almost 11 weeks out and I just finished my Physical Therapy . I was there for 8 weeks. My ROM is at 130 with full extension (finally) ! I am very pleased with my Physical Therapist, He never pushed me but always encouraged me to keep going, even if I had some discomfort and a little pain. He gave me some more balancing and strengthen exercises to do on my own, I can ride my Recumbent bike for 30 minutes a day, walk a couple of miles at a time , and I am back in the pool swimming a couple of laps (still need a lot of work there). I may never be able to run or hop but that’s okay. I am grateful for whatever comes my way. I know my recovery isn’t over , yet. I know I will still have some discomfort and pain , as I try new things or over do it but that is where rest, ice and elevation comes in. So, for those who think you won’t get there, trust me, You Will! I will check back at my 6th month mark.
