hi there
i am just four weeks post op and have only had one nights sleep , i just dont understand how it doesnt matter if i have slept during the day, been active or not, taken max painkillers or not, as soon as i try to relax the pain starts. all i do is go in the spare room, read , listen to the radio and have sorted out loads of boxes of photos and papers etc.
then come the morning if i have nothing on i can go to sleep like a baby for about three hours.
i think it is common and is probably because we have nothing to focus on and we just zone in on the pain, it is very frustrating and has lead me to tears at times.
sure it is all gonna be worth it in the end, from newfie girl
