4 weeks after surgery

I just completed 4 weeks of my Right Hip Replacement surgery.
I am able to walk 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile with a cane or a single crutch.
However I experience a pain in my groin area.I cannot keep balance without
cane.I can drive car also.But the pain always remains.
Can any one share their experience .When do the pain go away ?
How long does it take to walk without the aid.I will be seeing my OS
on 23 rd as a six weeks Postop apponitment.

Sounds like a muscle strain to me. You need to see your PT or a good chiropractor. It's not an uncommon development post THR.
