For those concerned about my staples, I went to see my OS on the 20th and he said the xray showed the knee was straight and looked good and to have staples out the 23rd by home health nurse. Well, on the 22nd I took them out myself! I'm a nurse and removed many before, but not on myself. It was freaky but I did it. I am now walking without my cane, but still have a side to side lumbering walk my therapist says. I did have a bad night last week and had to resort to the tylenol 3, but it only lasted that 1 night. Thank God for ice!!! And for all of you and your advice. Keep stressing a good attitude before and after surgery.

Well done, nurse nightshadesfal! Not sure I could have summoned the courage to do that! Heck, I wasn't even brave enough to remove my own Steristrips! You've done well so far.

lol Jo. That is such good news . Yyes ice and more ice. Take it easy. Im glad the staples are finally out. Good for you taking them out enough was enough right,...lol...I bet it did feel better though. Good luck and plase keep us posted....
