Well today marks my 3rd week after surgery. My condition today is slight swelling in the joint only. The pain is more of a dull agrivating pain, really doesn't bother me much during the day more at night when I try to sleep. I'm pushing hard at thearpy, 3 times a week. And my range right now naturally is 90 but pushing hard to get beyond this. The Surgeon thought we might do a partial, but once he got in there he decided on a full replacement. glad it's over. Seems every week is better than the last.
Take care,
MedHawk

You are doing great! You will see weekly progress and sometimes daily. I had BI-TKR and was able to return to work in 7 weeks. I am at 5.5 months post op and some days I don't even notice my knees. I am doing things that I haven't done in years and doing so without pain. Congratulations on you surgery and recovery!

Congrats on your progress. keep it up! I am also almost 3 weeks your better then I , I can only bend 70 have 5 proir sugeries till I got the TKR. I am way behind because of something in the inner part of my knee which is stoping me from bending. Ill catch up though. But you wow you are right on. Just wanted to say welcome and keep on goin'....Kim

Well done Medhawk! Good to hear of someone else doing really well. You're two weeks ahead of me, with my second TKR. With my first I remember the nights being more of a problem than the days, and I think that's pretty common. Hope you continue to progress - it sounds as if you are doing all the right things.

Medhawk.....so glad you posted your success so far. Keep us posted. Good stories are THE BEST!!! And of course....we're always here to help with any problems or concerns you may have along the way.

Thank you for your update. My surgery was eight days ago. Each day is better than the previous day, but it's always good to know what I might be seeing in a few weeks. At this point, living in the moment often makes you feel like you'll never be back to normal again. But updates like yours make me see that greater improvements will be here before I know it.
