Hey guys, just to let you know, I had my 3 month check up today (6 days late). My OS was opleased to notice a difference in my swollen knee. (It has gone down about half an inch since my lymph drainage massage on Friday).

He said he will wait another 4 weeks to decide if I need a manipulation. Said he would be happy to see me at 100-110 tops ROM. Says it's not necessary to get more to get good use out of my knew knee. Wants it straighter too though.

I was on the bike again this evening and I am going around quite fast now, still at higher setting though. When it is less painful I will lower the seat again.

I am also down to 1 Perc every 6-8 hours now too. I will stay at that for a week, I had a few bad reaction again today when I went 6 & 7 hours, so my body needs to adjust to the lower amount a bit more yet. I think I will try just Tylenol as soon as I am free of the Percs.

Sorry to be rambling, but I am so relieved not to be having the MUA for now and happy I can ride my bike at last.

Well have lots of catching up to do today, and want to get to bed ASAP after I take my next pill as I am going to watch my little grandaughter swim in the morning. Thanks for all your encouragement as always, (((((HUGS))))))) Sue

Sue,
How great is that you don't have to have the manipulation. I know you can get the extra degrees because we are all here pulling for you.
Hang in there Sue and get a great night's sleep you deserve it.
Cathy

Thanks Cathy. I can feel the pull!!!!!!!

How are you doing in your physio sessions nowadays? Hope all is going well now.

Great news Sue! I am really happy for you!

Keep up the good work. You are improving and you will reach your goal. Four weeks gives you a lot of time now that you are making some progress with your bike and swelling. I predict you will progress faster now.

Thanks Carolyn for the continued support, it is very much appeciated. I do feel more positive now. (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) Sue

At my last physical therapy I was at 93 degrees and that was Monday. I go 3 times a week so tomorrow is my next visit but I don't care if I increase on a per visit basis. My therapist told me to look at the big picture and see how far I've come in a month not visit to visit. So one month ago I was at 83 degrees so I am very pleased with my progress. Let's face it we are probably not planning on running marathons.
I'm thinking about you Sue and sending bends and straights your way.
Cathy

Bends and straights back at you Cathy. Thanks

Yes my physio looks at it that way too, she is always encouraging me. I think she's nice 'cos I take her English chocolate!!!LOL

I'll send you some virtual chocolate then ..........
