I cannot believe I am three days out from the second surgery! I'm starting to have those "I don't want to start all the way over at the beginning of recovery" feelings... :( It seems like I've come so far in 8 weeks, and now I'll be starting all over! This is my last weekend of freedom. EEK!

Just think, in just 4 days the surgery will be all over. Also, it's just 8 more weeks to have your life back. When thinking of it in the long-term range, 8 weeks is cake! You will do great. Time for some pampering again, Prinny!

You're right....the first week or so is a trial, but gosh, when you think about how much better you'll feel once recovery really gets underway....focus on that as you count down these next two days. Make TO DO lists for hubby and the kids. Even the little one can do something to "help Mommy." They'll feel good about being able to help you and you, my dear, will feel royally pampered - just as you SHOULD!!

I feel for you, but looking back, just think how FAST those 8 weeks went. And this time you have the benefit of KNOWING what you can and cannot do, what helps and what don't, and how to be good to yourself when you need to be.
