Hello Everyone,
I has just come from laying in the bed doing exercises on the first and second days after surgery to sitting on the edge of the bed doing some exercise yesterday day two and today I am sitting in a chair with all drainage and cathedora removed for urine. I have no pain and have my white tight nylons on and am sitting here with my laptop and exercising both legs, having had only one hip replaced at this time, I think will help in the recovery time, I think they are slower here in the Italian Medical system to have you leave, they want me totally walking independantly with my crutches before going home and I want this to happen soon, as with having had gastric bypass in May 2007, abdominoplasty in Dec. 2007 and an emergency redue of the abdominoplasty in mid. Jan 2008, I have been in the hospital and recovering at home in bed troppo giorni(too many days), I had hoped that I would be trying to take some steps today, however it is not the plan here. Being a weekend I hope they dont skip the progress because Sunday will arrive. I feel good, have almost no discomfort and really I want to go home. The hardest part is being in the hospital.
