Are you having surgery in the month of May? Welcome to the May Marvels....a team just for you with others that will be having surgery and recovery right along with you. Give us your surgery date and maybe a few facts about yourself and we'll get you on the list. As time goes by, the list will grow and maybe you'll find a few folks to partner up with for recovery.

I'm having TKR on May 17th, also! Looks like there are a few of us.

I just found this forum and I appreciate all of the information here. I like my surgeon, but it's been hard to get information about preparing for the surgery, so I appreciate reading about what items I should buy, what to expect to be able to do right away, etc.

Just a question...am I supposed to start a thread even if I don’t have specific questions right now? And it would be in regular knee pre-op, or in May Marvels?

I wasn’t sure if I was required to start my own post or if I could just jump in on different threads/discussions.

Yes, @LateRainNYC , please start your own thread in the Knee Surgery Pre-Op Area , so we can get to know you and people can talk to you.
We have articles to give you, to help you prepare for surgery, and you can ask any questions that might occur to you in your new thread.

The May Marvels is not a thread for chatting. It's essentially just a list, where you can see who else is having surgery the same month as you are.
