Are you having surgery in the month of May? Welcome to the May Marvels....a team just for you with others that will be having surgery and recovery right along with you. Give us your surgery date and maybe a few facts about yourself and we'll get you on the list. As time goes by, the list will grow and maybe you'll find a few folks to partner up with for recovery.

Please join the team and help support your fellow BoneSmarties through the lead-up to the Big Day and the recovery afterwards!

I’m scheduled for bilateral TKR on May 21!

I have a revision tkr the first week of May. I had a partial (in for 8 yrs) that recently got infected and they removed it to get rid of the infection. The new revision is scheduled.

Is it being revised to a total, @dukejeffries? And do you have an exact date?

How about starting a thread, to update us, since we hadn't heard form you for some years?

I will be having my 2nd knee REVISION on May 6th. As you can see this will be my fourth surgery on the right knee in five years. Not counting the two in 2005 for my miniscus tear.

I have another surgeon doing it and he's been wonderful so far. He specializes in failed replacements. I told him he has his work cut out for him. LOL! He even gave me his email address so I could email any questions to him. He saw how upset I was and he really was trying to make me feel comfortable.
