"All for one and one for all!!!"

March brings us 'round to the first of our monthly teams - the March Musketeers. Three of our members called themselves the March Musketeers back in 2010 and the whole program of monthly teams just took off from there.

If you're having surgery in the month of March, please post your date and any other information you'd like to share in this thread.

It always helps to have a group of BoneSmarties going through surgery and recovery together. You can support each other in true Musketeer fashion and even brandish a few swords as you reach milestones in recovery!

So....OUT with the BAD.....and IN with the GOOD! Let's get the Musketeers rallying together and ensure success for one....SUCCESS FOR ALL!!!

Hi! I've been lurking for a couple of years, knowing that my time was coming -- and it has. I'm having RTKR on March 7.

mg5457, let's stay in touch. Our surgeries will be almost identical, with my LTKR on Jan. 31 and my RTKR 8 weeks later on March 28. I wish you all the best! I lived 14 years in Castle Rock, so love love love Colorado. Good luck this coming Tuesday!!!

Since this is your second time around, I am assuming (which no one should do) that you already have a recovery thread----you can continue to use that for your second new knee.

@crstysue - Will do. My thoughts and prayers will be with you on your journey. Are excited?

I am. Everything is falling in place so amazingly. After years of pain I am looking forward to getting back out on 2 good knees to hit the 14ers and mountains again.

Oh yes, I am so ready. Not too many mountains in Kansas, but being able to run and play and get down in the floor with my grandkids (and back up again)...I can just taste the joy of living painfree. Let's do this!!!

I finally have the date of March 7th for my Bilateral TKR. I am so happy I found Bonesmart and am thankful for everyone here. I'm very worried about the whole thing but excited also.

I went to meet with my surgeon yesterday and left with a March 20th surgery date for Right TKR with the left to follow at a later date. I have had troublesome (read popping, dislocation, etc) knees all of my life and am excited to move on to something better. I have to admit, I am a little nervous, but I think I am more excited to think that I may soon be able to enjoy my life more without restrictions. I'm looking forward to the support of and advice from this group. Thanks for being here.
