Post from Fishbob:

Hi everyone. Fishnbob here. 2 years ago today, I got my right hip replaced. Still no pain, I still work in a busy kitchen as a Chef, still fish whenever I can. I'm thankful for my new hip everyday. During these last 2 years, I wondered what the new "normal" was going to feel like. I like it! I don't have any pain in my hips, back, or knees. Pre-op I had sciattica, knee pain, lower back pain, and the hip. The operation eliminated all these problems. I still know it's there. There are some limitations, but no pain. I still take 2 alleve every day. I'm finally able to sleep on my right side. That took about 18 months for me. Some people do it much sooner. Overall this has been a positive experience for me. I really appreciate all the help from everyone on this site.
