As I say everytime, thank God for this site. I am now 8 weeks rtkr. I read the new knees and think of how far I have come, with all your suggestions. I now have full extension,115 degrees flexion. My P.T. is finished and I'm great. I still have some tightness over the knee cap,but every other problem is extinct. I never finished my bottle of 45 Tylenol #3's . Please newbies, just hang in there and read the blogs as they will answer most of your questions and you too will get there. Don't measure your success by others, as yours is as unique as you are.

I'm at the same time since my knee replacement. My life is back to better than normall.

If you are in pain and the diagnosis is a new knee...get it replaced. I am so happy. The things I can do pain free is a very long list. Every day I find myself doing things that I could not do 5 years ago.

The first 3 weeks are tough. It can be done. Do the exercises and you will be thankful.

Good luck to all you future knee replacees

Terrific posts, friends! And good to hear this forum has been a help.

Hi - I will be 3 weeks on Monday. I've had a wonderful beginning recovery. I am looking forward to being able to increase my activity in the next weeks. Thanks for both of your posts. Nancy
